Engineer Builds a Dam in the Mountains Coloring Page
So glad you stopped by! This coloring page shows an engineer working high up in the mountains on an impressive dam. With a helmet, blueprint, and a watchful eye, she stands among massive rocks, planning how to tame the water. A motif that shows that clever minds can make the world a little safer, too, even in rubber boots and a hard hat.``` There's plenty for your kids to discover here. The towering mountains in the background, the mighty dam with its supporting pillars, the pooled water on one side and the calm river on the other. Plus little details like construction machines, toolboxes, and maybe even a curious mountain bird circling above the construction site.

Great Builder at Work: The Engineer and Her Mountain Dam
Coloring Tip: From Stone Gray to Sky Blue
For the rocks, various shades of gray work well, and a few imperfect transitions are fine too, since real mountains aren't perfectly smooth either. The water can happily appear in two shades of blue, a darker one for the depth of the reservoir and a lighter one for the foaming spots near the outflow. The engineer's helmet looks especially pretty in a bold yellow or orange, so she really stands out as the hero of the picture.
If you like, you can make up a little story while coloring: maybe the engineer is building the dam so the village in the valley never has to face flooding again. You can download this coloring page completely free of charge and print it comfortably at home, ideally in A4 format, so there's plenty of room for lots of color and imagination.
