A magical fairy and her new butterfly friend
Your child can get started on the fairy's delicate wings, design the soft patterns on the butterfly's wings, and maybe add flowers or little sparkles all around. There are plenty of small details to discover, but also enough big areas for anyone who prefers to work a bit faster.
Tip: making the wings and colors shine
For the fairy's wings, light pastel shades like lilac, mint, or a soft pink work especially well, and can be traced over with a glitter pen if you have one handy. The butterfly, on the other hand, can be really colorful, perhaps in orange and turquoise, so it stands out nicely next to the fairy. If you like, you can even invent a little story to go with it: maybe the butterfly is telling the fairy which flower in the garden smells the best, and the two of them decide to fly over there together.
