Vampire Rides a Broom Over the Rooftops Coloring Page

Dear parents, do you know that tingly feeling when the moon rises outside and imagination sprouts wings? That's exactly the feeling captured in this coloring page. A little vampire hops on his broom and zooms over the rooftops of the city, as if the whole night were his personal playground. Not a scary monster, but a charming night owl with a cape fluttering in the wind.

Nighttime Flight: A Vampire Rides a Broom Over the Rooftops

Your kids can really let loose while coloring this one. There are pointy teeth that don't look very frightening at all, a broom with scruffy bristles, and plenty of roofs, chimneys and windows, each one just waiting to be designed individually. Some windows might glow yellow, while others stay dark and mysterious. The night sky also offers room for stars, clouds, or a round, yellow moon.

Coloring Idea: Setting the Night Scene

A lovely trick for this picture is to first color the sky in dark tones like blue, purple, or even black, and only afterward highlight the vampire and the rooftops with bold colors. This creates a wonderful contrast that really brings the picture to life. The cape can shine in deep red or violet, while the rooftops stay in a cozy reddish-brown or gray.

If you like, you can even come up with a little story together: where is the vampire actually flying to? Maybe to a midnight party, or simply to count the stars. You can download this coloring page for free and print it out comfortably at home on A4 paper. Then the nighttime adventure can begin, crayons at the ready!
