The Fire Hose: A Small Hero in a Big Rescue
On the coloring page, kids can see the hose with its typical couplings, used to connect it to a hydrant or the fire truck. Some hoses are rolled up, others are stretched out and ready for action. That leaves plenty of space for little artists' hands to grab their pencils or crayons and give the hose their own personal touch.
Coloring idea: Water on with the right colors
Real fire hoses are usually a bold red, just like the rest of the firefighters' equipment. But if you feel like being adventurous, you could also color a hose in yellow or silver-gray, as sometimes seen on special rescue vehicles. Maybe by the end, the first splashes of blue water are already flowing out, drawn as little drops and sprays around the nozzle.
The rolled-up hose can also spark a little story: Where is the fire right now, and how quickly does the crew need to unroll the hose?
