Flamingo with Umbrella in the Fog Coloring Page
Dear parents, do you know this feeling? Fog rolls in outside, and suddenly the whole world seems a little dreamy and mysterious. Our flamingo slips right into this mood, strolling elegantly through the foggy landscape with his umbrella. He simply won't let gloomy weather spoil his mood, and we find that pretty admirable.

A flamingo that stands up to the fog
There's plenty for your child to discover and color in here. There are the flamingo's slender legs, his curved neck, and of course his striking feathers. Then there's the umbrella, which can be as bright and patterned as you like, plus the fog in the background, which can be brought to life with soft grey tones or delicate pastel colors.
Tip for a soft foggy mood
To make the fog really look like fog, it's worth working with light grey and blue tones and pressing the crayons only lightly. This creates a soft, washed-out effect that makes a lovely contrast to the flamingo's bold pink. The umbrella, on the other hand, is allowed to be really loud, maybe in stripes or dots, as a little splash of color against the gloomy weather.
If you like, you can make up a little story to go with it, for example where the flamingo might be headed and who he could meet in the fog. This adds some fun to the coloring and puts everyone in a good mood at the table. You can download this coloring page for free and print it comfortably at home on A4 paper, and the coloring afternoon together can begin.
