Busy Forest Ants at Work
For children's eyes, there's plenty to discover in this picture. Tip: Lots of little splashes of color make all the difference
Forest ants are usually seen in dark red and brown tones, but when coloring, a bit of imagination is always welcome. Some children like giving each ant its own color, almost like a colorful little troop. The anthill itself can be beautifully shaded in different shades of brown to give it a three-dimensional look, and a rich forest green between the needles can add nice contrast.
