The Forest Ranger with His Trusty Walking Stick
This picture is a little window into everyday life in the forest. Your child can color the ranger's sturdy jacket, his practical hat, and of course the walking stick that helps him keep his balance on uneven ground. All around, tall trees and dense undergrowth are waiting, and maybe even a curious animal hiding among the leaves.
Coloring Idea: A Forest Full of Green Shades
Earthy brown tones work well for the path, while the treetops really come alive in different shades of green. The ranger himself can appear in warm brown or rich green, just like real forest worker outfits. If you like, you can let little sunbeams peek through the leaves using a soft yellow.
Maybe you can invent a little story together: What is the ranger looking for on his path? Can he hear the birds singing, or does he spot fresh animal tracks on the ground? Questions like these make coloring even more exciting. You can download the coloring page for free and print it comfortably at home on standard letter size, then the forest walk with crayons can begin.
