Hardworking Gardener Ties Up Tomato Plants

Your child can discover and color in several exciting things here. There are the green leaves of the tomato plants, the first little red fruits, the gardener's apron, and of course the wooden stakes and twine holding everything together. The garden soil and maybe a bit of sky in the background are also waiting to come to life.

Coloring idea: From light green to deep red

A pretty color gradient works especially well for this motif. The young leaves can shine in a soft light green, while older leaves get a richer dark green. The tomatoes themselves are a great area to practice: some can still be green, others already orange or bright red, just like in a real garden. The gardener's apron can be beautifully colored in a cheerful blue or yellow, and earthy brown tones work well for the soil. Just print out the picture for free, ideally in A4 size, and you're ready to start. Whether with colored pencils at the kitchen table or crayons on the floor, this motif invites relaxed coloring and might even remind you of your own balcony or garden at home.
