Tip: Use cool colors to create a mysterious mood
Shades of blue work well for the lake, from light turquoise to a deep midnight blue, depending on whether it's meant to be day or night. The ghost can stay white or soft gray, with a touch of purple for a mysterious shimmer. If you like, let the sky glow in gentle pink or orange, as if the sun were just setting while the little ghost makes its rounds.
