Glacier from a Bird's-Eye View Coloring Page
So glad you stopped by! Today we're heading way up high with your child, because this coloring page shows a glacier the way you'd only ever see it from an airplane or a hot air balloon. From above, the eternal ice looks like a huge, glittering landscape with crevasses, channels and snowfields stretching out in every direction.

Up High: The Glacier from a Bird's-Eye View Coloring Page
This perspective makes the picture especially exciting, because the shapes of the glacier can be explored much more freely than in a classic front view. Your child can imagine the curving lines of the ice crevasses, discover tiny rocky islands in the middle of the ice, and wonder just how cold it must be up there. Every coloring session turns into a little expedition right at your own kitchen table.
Coloring idea: From icy blue to sunny warm
A glacier doesn't have to be just white and blue. Try soft turquoise tones for the deep crevasses, while the surface shimmers in light gray or lilac. If you like, add a few sunny yellow tones along the edge, as if the evening sun were sweeping across the ice. Little imaginary characters, like a curious arctic fox sitting between the ice fields, are also welcome additions with colored pencils.
If you feel like telling a little story: imagine you're floating over the Alps or the mountains in a balloon, looking down together at this sparkling ice field. You can download the Glacier from a Bird's-Eye View coloring page quickly and for free, then print it out at home in peace, ideally in handy A4 format. That way the template is all ready whenever your child feels like a new coloring adventure.
