Hedgehog Mandala Coloring Page

So glad you stopped by! Hedgehogs are already little characters in everyday life, but as a mandala they become true works of art. Around the little guy in the middle, intricate patterns, leaves, and small circles wind together to form a wonderfully symmetrical picture.

Hedgehog Mandala: A Prickly Work of Art to Color

Your child can really let loose here: the spikes are just waiting to be colored in warm autumn tones, while the decorations around them leave plenty of room for imaginative colors. Some kids like to color every section the same way, others pick a new color for each part. Both are exactly right.

Tip: Color from the inside out

A little trick that makes coloring easier: start in the middle with the hedgehog's face and work your way outward bit by bit. That way you won't lose track so quickly with a mandala, and the finished picture will look wonderfully cohesive in the end.

Brown, orange, and a rich reddish-brown work especially well for the spikes, just like real hedgehogs. The surrounding patterns, on the other hand, can be as colorful and playful as you like, maybe turquoise, yellow, or purple, whatever feels fun in the moment. If you like, you can even add a few sparkly highlights with glitter pens. You can download this coloring page for free and easily print it at home on standard paper. All you need then are some crayons, a quiet moment, and the creative hedgehog adventure can begin.
