A cozy gnome house in the forest to color in
There's so much for your child to discover here: gnarled trees, mushrooms along the path, maybe a curious squirrel on the roof, and of course the house itself with all its little details. Plenty to keep little hands busy during a quiet afternoon of coloring, or as a fun activity on a rainy day.
Tip: Conjure up warm autumn colors
Shades of brown, green, and orange work especially well for a forest mood. The roof can shine in a bold red or a cozy moss green, while the tree trunks get their depth from different shades of brown. If you like, let the windows glow in warm yellow, as if a candle were burning inside and the gnomes were gathering for dinner.
Maybe you and your child can come up with a little story together: who do you think lives in this house, and what is the gnome cooking in his pot tonight? Simply download the coloring page for free and print it out at home on standard letter size paper. All you need then are crayons or colored pencils, and the journey into the gnome forest can begin.
