Griffin Flying Under a Full Moon Coloring Page
Dear parents, do you know that feeling when the evening sky turns completely dark and the moon shines so big and round that you could almost reach out and touch it? That's the exact moment our griffin appears. With mighty wings, sharp claws, and a proud eagle's head, it soars high above forests and mountains, as if the night belonged entirely to it.

A mysterious griffin glides through the moonlit night
What makes this creature so special is that it combines two animals in one. The front half with its beak and wings comes from the eagle, while the body with fur and paws comes from the lion. That means there's twice as much for your child to discover and color in, from the individual feathers to the bushy tail.
Tip: Playing with light and shadow
Since the scene takes place at night, you can experiment together with dark blue and purple tones for the sky, leaving the full moon a bright, glowing yellow or white. The griffin itself can be colored in warm golden tones, rich brown, or even a fanciful silvery shimmer, whatever your little artist prefers.
Maybe while coloring you'll come up with a little story together: Is the griffin flying back to its nest, or is it protecting the forest animals from danger? You can download the coloring page of the griffin flying under a full moon for free and print it easily at home on a regular A4 sheet of paper. That way, nothing stands in the way of a cozy coloring evening under the moonlight.
