The mysterious haunted house on the hill is waiting for colorful colors
There's so much for your child to discover and color here. The creaky wooden door, the cobwebs in the corners, maybe a little ghost at the window or bats fluttering around the tower. Every line invites them to tell their own little spooky story with crayons or colored pencils, without it ever getting truly scary.
Tips for spooky-beautiful colors
Muted tones like grayish brown or a faded purple work well for the walls, giving it a nicely eerie look. The sky can be deep blue or even black, paired with a bright yellow moon as an eye-catcher. You can color the windows orange or yellow, so it looks like a little candle is flickering inside. If you like, you can let a few green plants grow on the hillside as a contrast to the dark house.
Along the way, you can think up together who might live in this house. A shy ghost? A witch with her cat? The hill and the house leave plenty of room for little stories to tell while coloring. Just download the haunted house for free and print it at home on a regular A4 sheet, then you can dive straight into filling it with color.
