A fun trick while coloring: each giraffe can get its own unique pattern. Sometimes angular spots, sometimes round ones, sometimes in warm orange, sometimes in soft brown. That way, the herd quickly turns into a group of real characters, and your child might even start telling little stories about which one is the curious giraffe and which one is the shy one. For the savanna itself, warm yellow and ochre tones work great for the grasses, along with a rich green for the scattered trees.
