When Raindrops Create a Rainbow

What's special about this design is the mix of water and color that children can discover while coloring. Each individual drop can look different, sometimes round, sometimes elongated, and yet together they create a harmonious whole. Your child can wonderfully explore here how many small parts come together to create something big and colorful.

Tip: From Rain to Rainbow

Soft blue and gray tones work well for the raindrops themselves, as if they've just fallen from the sky. The rainbow underneath can then be really vibrant: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and violet, always in order just like the real thing in nature. If you like, you can also leave the drops transparent and just dab a little light blue around the edge, which looks especially shiny.

A little story can make coloring even more lively: maybe you can tell your child that each drop is a little color artist sending its own favorite color along on the journey. You can download the coloring page with the raindrops and the rainbow for free and conveniently print it at home on A4 paper. Then the colorful fun can begin at the kitchen table or on the floor, just grab some crayons or colored pencils and start the rainbow hunt.
