Lion Chasing a Butterfly Coloring Page
So glad you stopped by! This coloring page shows a lion chasing after a butterfly with big paws and even bigger enthusiasm. The fact that he'll probably never catch it only makes the scene more lovable. Even a king of the animals can be a little clumsy sometimes.

The Clumsy Lion and the Quick Butterfly
Your child can color in the lion's proud mane, his curious eyes, and of course the delicate wings of the butterfly fluttering gracefully away in front of him. Among the grass, flowers, and a few clouds, there's plenty of room to bring the whole scene to colorful life.
A Little Coloring Idea for In Between
Try giving the mane warm tones: golden yellow, orange, and a touch of brown really give the lion some character. The butterfly, on the other hand, can shimmer in turquoise, pink, or purple, so it stands out nicely against the lion's fur. If you like, tell a little story while coloring: maybe the lion doesn't want to catch the butterfly at all, but just wants to play with it.
