Mangrove tree in shallow water coloring page
Welcome to a little trip to the warm coast: On this coloring page, a mangrove tree stands with its strong roots right in the shallow water. It is quite a special tree, because its roots do not only get to live in soil here—they can also peek curiously out of the water.

A mangrove tree splashes in the shallow water
Together with your child, you can discover lots of exciting shapes: the wide trunk, the twisting root arches, the calm water surface, and the leaves high up in the crown. Perhaps a little fish, a crab, or a tiny frog is hiding among the roots—feel free to add them while coloring. That way, the picture quickly becomes your very own coastal story.
Green leaves, brown roots, and water with waves
Different shades of green look especially lovely for the mangrove tree: light green for young leaves, dark green for shady spots, and a little yellow-green for sunlit tips. The trunk and roots can be brown, gray, or reddish brown. The water can be blue, but it can also look turquoise, light green, or silvery gray—after all, shallow water loves to change its color like a little magician.
A few thin, horizontal lines can suggest gentle waves. Perhaps your child would like to add an orange sunset or a light blue sky with clouds. You can download the mangrove tree in shallow water coloring page for free and conveniently print it at home on A4 paper. Then all you need are some coloring pencils and a lovely spot to color together.
