The Moon Watches Over the Cherry Blossoms
What makes this picture so special is the mix of stillness and life. The moon shines quietly and peacefully, while the cherry blossoms dance across the branches in countless tiny shapes. Your child can really let loose here: moon craters, individual petals, and maybe even a few stars in the background are waiting to be filled with color.
A Coloring Idea for Warm Evenings
Why not try coloring the moon not just in yellow, but shading it with a touch of silver or light gray, this gives it real depth. The cherry blossoms can shine in delicate pink, white, or even a bold pink, depending on how your child feels that day. The sky behind can be dark blue or purple, which really makes the moon and blossoms glow.
Maybe while coloring you can tell a little story too, about a moon that watches over the cherry trees every night and is delighted when the first blossoms open in spring. The best part: you can download this coloring page for free and print it out at home at your leisure, for example on a regular A4 sheet. Then all you need is a cozy corner, a few crayons, and the colorful moon evening can begin.
