Northern Lights at the Beach: When Sky and Sea Glow Together
Here your child can color two worlds at once: above, the swirling veils of light in green, purple and blue, and below, the calm beach with waves, maybe a few seashells and a piece of driftwood. So there's definitely plenty of room for imagination.
Coloring tip: Bringing color gradients to life
Northern lights look their best when they're not just one color, but blend softly into one another. Try coloring green and turquoise side by side with your child, then gently smudge or hatch the transitions. A touch of purple or pink on top works really well, just like real northern lights sometimes shimmer. The beach can stay in warm tones, which creates a lovely contrast to the cool sky.
And if you like, you can invent a little story to go with it: maybe a little crab is sitting down there on the beach, marveling at the colorful lights above for the very first time. You can download this coloring page easily and for free, and print it comfortably at home, for example on a regular A4 sheet. Then all you need are the crayons, a cozy corner, and the journey between sky and sea can begin.
