The Wise Owl and Her Sparkling Sky of Stars
Your child can color the fluffy feathers one by one, give the moon a face, or invent little patterns among the stars. Some kids like it extra colorful, while others prefer mysterious blues and purples. Both work perfectly for our night-time owl.
A Little Tip: The Night Sky as a Color Adventure
Dark shades of blue and violet work especially well for the background, so the stars can really shine. If you like, dab on little dots of light with a pale pencil or some white, it creates a wonderful sparkling effect. The owl herself can happily wear warm browns, soft grey, or even bold orange, whatever your little artist feels like.
