High in the Saddle on Patrol: The Police Horse with Its Rider

Coloring Tip: From Horse Coat to Cobblestones
For the horse, you can work with classic shades of brown - a warm chestnut brown or a rich blackish brown looks especially elegant. The mane can be a bit darker, or accented with fine black strokes to bring texture to the coat. The rider's uniform is usually dark blue, with a touch of silver or yellow for badges and buttons. For the city in the background, muted grays and reds work well for the buildings, while the sky can shine in soft blue or even sunset orange - whatever your child feels like.
