The grinning pumpkin wakes up on the porch
Your kids can really get started here: the triangle eyes, the jagged mouth, and the curved lines of the pumpkin's ribs are just waiting to become colorful. In the background you can discover wooden boards, a railing, or maybe even a few falling leaves to fill with color.
A little coloring tip
Orange is of course the classic choice for the pumpkin, but a small trick makes it look more lively: make the tips of the bulges a bit lighter and the grooves in between a darker orange or light brown. This almost automatically creates an impression of roundness and depth. The carved face can be black or a deep dark brown, so it really stands out from the rest of the pumpkin.
If you like, tell a little story while coloring: maybe the pumpkin is waiting for visitors for Thanksgiving, or it's guarding the porch until the first guests arrive for the shared meal. You can download the coloring page for free and print it comfortably at home on A4 paper. Then all you need are colored pencils, crayons, or felt-tip pens, a quiet moment, and you're ready to go. Have lots of fun coloring with your little pumpkin friend!
