Soaring high with the rainbow hot air balloon
Your child can really let their creativity shine here: the balloon basket is just waiting for colorful patterns, the balloon's envelope invites stripes or checks, and of course the rainbow gets to shine in all its colors. The clouds around it and maybe a curious bird in the sky are also waiting to be filled with color.
Tip: Color the rainbow first, then the rest
Here's a little trick that makes coloring easier: let your child color the rainbow first, since the order of the colors – red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet – gives a nice structure and is great fun for discovering the color sequence. After that, the balloon can have its turn, for example in bold red with yellow dots, or however your child feels like it.
Maybe you can tell a little story while you're at it: where might the balloon be flying to right now? To a castle made of cotton candy, or across the sea to an island full of parrots? There are no limits to the imagination. You can download this coloring page completely free and print it comfortably at home on A4 paper – and the colorful journey into the sky can begin.
