A Rhino Enjoys Its Dust Bath
There's plenty for your children to discover and color here. The rhino's tough skin with its folds and armor-like plates offers lots of space for exciting color experiments, while the swirling clouds of dust in the background invite imaginative designs. The striking horn and the little ears are also just waiting to be brought to life.
Tip: From Dull Gray to Cheerful Brown Tones
Rhinos often appear gray, but in reality their dust baths leave all kinds of different earthy tones on their skin. Let your children experiment with brown, ochre and a touch of orange, it looks especially vivid. Light beige and yellow tones work wonderfully for the dust clouds, maybe with a few white highlights for extra movement.
If you like, you can come up with a little story to go along with it: why is the rhino rolling in the dust right now? Maybe it's just too hot, or it wants to protect itself from annoying insects. Little stories like this make coloring even more exciting. You can download the picture for free and print it out at home, ideally in DIN A4 format, so even little hands have enough space to color. Grab your pencils and have fun creating this animal moment together.
