Rock-Solid Research: The Scientist on the Mountain Slope

What makes this motif special is the mix of adventure and knowledge. Your child can color the rugged rocks on the slope, the backpack with its many little pockets, and of course the rock chunks lying around everywhere. Some look like plain gray pebbles, while others might be hidden treasures with colorful veins. Enough imagination for a whole afternoon project.

Coloring Idea: Every Stone Tells a Story

A lovely approach is to give each rock its own color and, with it, its own little story. Maybe one stone is full of golden sparkly spots, another glows reddish like Mars rock, and yet another is deep green like a hidden emerald. Earthy browns and soft grays work well for the mountain slope, while a few tufts of grass or small flowers at the edge add fresh splashes of color. The researcher's clothing can look nice and practical, too, a khaki shirt or a sturdy blue jacket fits the expedition look perfectly.

If you like, simply download the picture for free and print it out at home at your leisure, conveniently in A4 format. Then all you need are some crayons, a quiet corner, and maybe a cup of tea for yourself while the little researchers get to work.
