Radiant sun over a sea of sunflowers
What makes this picture especially lovely is the mix of large, simple areas and lots of tiny details. The sun with its round face and long rays can be colored in generously and freely, while the many sunflower petals invite careful, close-up coloring. That way there's something for both little and bigger artists' hands.
Coloring idea: From yellow to orange
The sunflowers look wonderful in lots of different yellow shades, maybe with a touch of orange at the tips of the petals. The sun itself can shine in bold yellow or even warm red-orange, so it really glows on the paper. The leaves and stems invite various shades of green, from fresh light green to a rich fir green. If you like, you can add a soft blue in the background for the sky, but you don't have to, since the picture looks wonderfully summery in just yellow and green too.
