A sunflower mandala ready to shine
Your child can discover and color the round petals, the small circles in the center, and the fine lines around them. Some areas are tiny and call for steady hands, while others are large and invite generous coloring. That way there's something for impatient little artists and tiny perfectionists alike.
Coloring idea: from the center outward
A nice tip for this picture is to start in the middle with a bold yellow or orange and then work your way outward layer by layer. This creates a real sunshine effect that brings back memories of a warm summer day. If you like, you can color the outer petals in reddish-brown or even a cheeky pink, whatever feels right at the moment.
The little spaces in between are also worth a look. Light green or turquoise create a fresh contrast to the warm sunflower tones and really make the whole mandala glow. With this picture there's no right or wrong, just lots of lovely possibilities.
