Dear parents, just imagine: a turtle that's really made for warm days ventures out into the winter. That's exactly what awaits you and your children on this coloring page. A frosty turtle gets cozy
What makes this motif so special is the charming contrast: turtles are usually known from warm waters or sunny gardens, but here she braves ice and snow. Your child can decorate the shell with wintery patterns, draw snowflakes floating in the air, or conjure up a warm scarf around the turtle's neck. So there's plenty of room for their own ideas.
Tip: Warm colors for a cold motif
A lovely contrast is created when the snow stays in cool blue and white tones, while the turtle itself shines in warm colors like orange, red, or green. That way she looks like a little ray of sunshine in the middle of winter. A red hat or a striped scarf also add wonderful accents and make the picture look really cozy.
Maybe you could tell your child a little story while coloring: the turtle got lost and is seeing snow for the first time – how do you think she would react? Little flights of imagination like this make coloring even more fun. You can download the coloring page for free and print it comfortably at home on A4 paper. Then the wintery coloring fun can begin.
