Sunny Time-Out: The Coloring Page with the Turtle on the Rock
Your child can discover the patterned shell of the turtle here, the little folds on its neck and legs, as well as the rock it's resting on. All around there's room for imagination, maybe a bit of water, a few plants or even a sun shining extra bright. Every detail can shine in your favorite color, there's no right or wrong when it comes to coloring.
Coloring idea: The shell as a little mosaic
A nice tip for this design: the shell is made up of lots of little sections that are great fun to color one by one. How about a mix of green, brown and a hint of turquoise, so it looks like a little mosaic? The rock underneath can stay in earthy gray tones, so the turtle really stands out. And the sun above her loves a strong yellow or orange, after all it should feel really warm and cozy.
If you like, tell the little story that goes with it: the turtle has found the nicest spot by the pond to take a sunbath in peace. Maybe your child can think of who comes to visit her. You can download the coloring page for free and easily print it at home on a regular A4 sheet. Then all you need is to get out the crayons and the relaxed coloring time can begin.
