Coloring idea: Hot, hotter, lava
For the volcano, we recommend bold reds, oranges and yellows that blend into one another, which makes the lava look really alive. The mountain itself can look dark and rocky, maybe with a few shades of gray and brown. You can color the dinosaurs in classic greens and browns, or be bold and invent brightly colored fantasy dinos, after all, nobody really knows for sure what color they actually were.
If you like, you can make up a little story to go along with it: maybe the dinosaurs are fleeing the eruption, or they're calmly watching the spectacle from a safe distance. That makes coloring even more fun.
