A brave wolf scales its rock
Your child can design the wolf's shaggy fur here, take a close look at its sharp claws, and go wild on the rugged rock with all its edges and cracks. The background also leaves room for imagination, whether a wide sky, a dense forest, or snow-covered mountains should appear there.
Tip: Painting fur with depth
A little trick for especially lively fur: first apply the base color with a medium gray or brown, then go over the edges with a darker shade. This makes the wolf look much more three-dimensional right away. The rock can also be shaded in several shades of gray or even with a hint of purple, which looks surprisingly realistic.
Imagine this wolf is climbing to its favorite spot, from which it can overlook the whole valley. Maybe its wolf family is already waiting for it up there? You can download the coloring page completely free of charge and print it out comfortably at home on A4 paper. Grab the colored pencils and let your child decide which color suits this climbing wolf best.
