A Zebra Enjoys the Sunset
There are two exciting things for kids to discover here. On one hand, there are the zebra's typical black-and-white stripes, which invite a closer look, and on the other hand, there's the wide sky in the background, which leaves plenty of room for creative color mixing. A lovely combination of structure and freedom while coloring.
Tip: From Bright Yellow to Deep Orange
When it comes to the sunset, things can get really colorful. Suggest starting with a bright yellow at the center of the sun and then moving outward through orange to a strong red or even purple. This naturally creates a beautiful color gradient, no experience needed. The zebra's stripes can stay classic black and white, or be touched up with a hint of the sunset colors, if desired.
Maybe you can tell your child a little story about why the zebra likes to pause right now to watch the sun.
