Fins and Stardust: The Astronaut Feeds Fish in the Space Aquarium

What's especially lovely is the mix of worlds: the bulky space suit meets playful, colorful fish swimming curiously up to the glass. While coloring, your child can decide whether the suit should be shiny white or bold orange, and whether the fish should look like striped fish or little fantasy creatures. The aquarium itself, with its portholes and air bubbles, also invites exploration.

Coloring Idea: A Play of Colors Between the Deep Sea and the Depths of Space

A nice trick is to use two contrasting color worlds. The background with stars and planets can be dark and mysterious, for example in navy blue or violet, while the fish in the aquarium get to shine bright and cheerful, say in yellow, turquoise, or pink. This creates a wonderful contrast that brings the picture to life. If you like, you can even make up a little story to go with it: why is the astronaut feeding his fish up here of all places, and how did they even get into space? You can download this coloring page easily and for free, and print it comfortably at home, ideally in A4 format. All you need then are crayons or felt-tip pens, a quiet moment, and the journey between stars and schools of fish can begin.
