Butterfly Mandala: Wings Full of Patterns to Color
Your child can get as creative as they like here: color the two wing halves the same or completely different, highlight individual mandala sections one by one, or let the whole picture blend into one big flow of color. There's no right or wrong, just plenty of room for their own ideas.
Coloring Idea: Bringing Mirror Symmetry to Life
A nice approach is to start at the center of the butterfly and work outward from there. This way the mandala structure stays easy to follow, and your child gets to see how individual sections slowly come together into one big, harmonious picture. If you like, try using the same color on both wing sides, this gives a lovely balanced look to the finished picture.
