A butterfly takes a break on the watering can
The motif is wonderfully simple yet full of little details to discover. Your children can fill the big butterfly wings with patterns, color in the round watering can, and imagine which flowers are about to get watered. A picture that smells of garden, sunshine, and little wonders.
Tip: Design the wings like a mosaic
For the butterfly's wings, a cheerful color mix works great: orange, yellow, and a bold blue make for a real eye-catcher. The watering can can shine in a fresh green or classic silver-gray, just like real watering cans often look in the garden. If you like, add a few water drops tumbling out of the can, that instantly brings the scene to life.
Maybe you can invent a little story together: What's the butterfly's name, and why is it taking a break right here? Little flights of imagination like this make coloring even more fun. You can download this picture for free and easily print it at home on A4 paper, then nothing stands in the way of a cozy coloring afternoon.
