The Cobra Coils Onto the Paper

What makes our cobra special is its proud posture: the body winds elegantly across the page, while the characteristic hood around its neck offers plenty of room for patterns and splashes of color. Your child can not only have fun with the long, curving body but also conjure up little dots, stripes, or zigzag lines on the hood. Feel free to experiment here.

Tip: A Cobra With Personality

Traditionally, the cobra is colored in olive and brownish-green, with a lighter belly in beige or cream white. But if you prefer things more colorful, you can get bold: a turquoise cobra with golden patterns looks like something straight out of a fairy tale, and no one can say that's the wrong color for a snake. Maybe your cobra even has a name and a little story, like how it plays hide-and-seek in the tall grass or proudly watches over its terrarium.

You can download the coloring page for free and print it out at home on standard letter size paper. So grab your crayons, set the cobra on the table, and let the little snake charming begin.
