Dear parents, when it gets dark outside and the moon shines through the window, it becomes extra cozy indoors for coloring. Dancing Ghosts in the Moonlight: a dreamily beautiful coloring page
Your child can discover several floating figures here, moving through the night air in different poses. Some are spinning pirouettes, others are waving happily, and all of them seem to have the moon as their best friend. In between there are stars, wisps of clouds, and of course the big, round moon itself, just waiting for lots of color.
Coloring idea: from shimmery to spookily beautiful
Soft colors work well for the ghosts, for example a light blue, lavender, or a gentle gray, so they look nice and see-through. The moon can shine in a bold yellow or even orange, as if glowing especially for the dance party. The night all around can be wonderfully done in dark blue or purple, making the bright ghosts stand out beautifully.
If you like, you can come up with a little story to go along with it: maybe the ghosts are celebrating their yearly festival, or practicing for a performance in front of the stars. The lovely thing about this picture is that it leaves plenty of room for your own ideas, whether playful or a bit spookily charming. You can easily download the coloring page for free and print it at home on A4 paper at your leisure. Then all you need are colored pencils, crayons, or felt-tip pens, and the moonlit painting session can begin.
