A tip for atmospheric colors
Since the scene takes place at night, dark blue tones or a soft violet work wonderfully for the sky. Warm yellow and orange tones for the lights in the shutters go nicely with that and create a lovely contrast. The drum itself can really stand out, maybe in bold red with golden decorations, however your child feels like it.
