A Fox on an Adventure in the Cornfield
Your child can color the fox's bushy tail, pointy ears, and the long ears of corn however they like. The sky in the background and the ground between the rows of plants also offer lots of room for their own ideas. Some kids even spot little details like blades of grass or stones that they'd like to color in too.
Tip: Autumn Colors for a Cozy Picture
Since corn usually ripens in late summer or fall, warm colors suit this picture especially well. Orange, reddish-brown, and a rich yellow for the corn cobs really make the picture glow. The fox itself can shine in a bold reddish-orange, while the tip of its tail and its belly can stay classic white.
Maybe you can tell your child a little story while they color: the fox is on its way back to its den, sniffing at every corn stalk to check if a mouse is hiding there. Little stories like this make coloring even more fun. If you'd like, simply download the picture for free and print it at home on a regular A4 sheet. That way, nothing stands in the way of a cozy coloring afternoon, with no extra effort needed.
