Tip: mix autumn colors and be bold
Brown, orange, red, and a warm yellow belong in every good autumn forest, but your child is welcome to go their own way here too. A deer with purple antlers or turquoise leaves has never hurt anyone, quite the opposite, ideas like that are what make the picture truly personal. Muted brown tones work well for the forest floor, while the treetops can be as bold and colorful as you like.
