A fairy flies on butterfly wings over the flower field
What's especially lovely about this picture is the mix of fantasy and nature. Your little ones can color in the fairy's delicate wings, design the butterfly's colorful wing pattern, and let the sea of flowers below bloom in every color imaginable. There's so much to discover and even more to color.
Coloring idea: A sea of colorful blossoms
How about giving every flower in the field a different color? Red poppies, yellow daisies, purple bellflowers – this creates a truly vibrant sea of flowers. The fairy herself can shine in soft pastel tones, while the butterfly sets a lovely contrast with bold blue, pink, or orange. Glitter pens work especially well here too, if you happen to have some at home.
Maybe you can invent a little story together: where might the fairy be flying to? Is she visiting a flower queen, or looking for the prettiest spot to rest? Little stories like these make coloring even more exciting. You can download this picture for free and print it out comfortably at home, best in A4 format, so there's enough room for every detail. Grab your pencils and set off on the colorful journey into fairyland.
