Tip: Design the feathers layer by layer
While coloring, you can discover together that flamingos don't just wear one color. From soft pink to bold magenta to a warm orange near the base of the beak, many options are possible, and even small color differences can make the feathers look lively. For the legs, a rich gray or a gentle red works well, while the background can be filled in with shades of blue for water or sunny yellow for a summer day.
