The Snowy Forest Cabin: A Cozy Coloring Page for Cold Days
In the picture, your child will discover a cozy wooden cabin with a smoking chimney, surrounded by snow-covered fir trees and perhaps a trail in the snow leading to the door. There are roof tiles to color in, windows where you can just make out a warm glow, and plenty of snowflakes just waiting to be made to sparkle with crayons.
Coloring Tip: Real Snow Effect with Cotton Balls
For anyone who wants it a bit more wintery, here's a little idea: after coloring, small cotton balls or white dabs of finger paint can be glued or dabbed onto the snowy areas. This makes the snow look really fluffy. When it comes to colors, feel free to keep it classic, deep brown for the wood, lush fir green, and bright white or soft light blue for the snow. But brave kids can also conjure up a pink cabin or one with a purple roof, after all, anything goes in the forest.
Maybe you can invent a little story together: who might live in this cabin, and is a hot chocolate already waiting there? You can download the template for free and print it out comfortably at home on A4 paper, then the cozy coloring afternoon can begin.
