An iceberg to color: cold meets creativity
On our coloring page, the iceberg towers mightily out of the water, while the much bigger part hides beneath the surface. Maybe a curious penguin is swimming by at the edge, or a seal is sunning itself on an ice floe. There's certainly plenty of space for both small and big crayons.
A little tip: how cold should it look?
For the classic iceberg look, light blue and turquoise tones work especially well, perhaps with a few white patches simply left blank. If you want a wintery sparkle, a silver or light blue crayon can be used to hint at shimmering edges. The water below can look darker and more mysterious, for example in a deep blue or even with a hint of green, just like real polar water.
And if your child would rather come up with a little story: who might live on this iceberg? A lonely polar bear on a journey, or a whole penguin family traveling together?
