A shimmering goldfish swims its circles in the New Year pond
In the picture, the goldfish glides through a calm pond, surrounded by gentle wavy lines, a few lily pads and maybe even a little lantern on the shore. Your child can design the curving fins, the round scales and the peaceful water to their heart's content, there is plenty to discover and even more to color in.
Tip: Gold and red make the pond festive
Since red and gold stand for luck and joy at Chinese New Year, these colors work especially well for the fish. A bold orange-red for the body, a touch of gold for the fin tips, and the goldfish will shimmer like a little bringer of luck. The pond can shimmer in various shades of blue and green, which makes the water feel truly alive.
If you like, you can tell the little story of the goldfish that swims through the pond every New Year and brings a bit of luck to every family. You can download the coloring page for free and print it comfortably at home on A4 paper, then nothing stands in the way of a cozy coloring afternoon together.
