A wolf in full leap: the coloring page for little forest friends
Your child can really let loose while coloring: the wolf's thick fur, its alert eyes, its powerful paws, and of course the gnarled tree trunk with its rough bark are all waiting for color. The background also leaves room for their own ideas, whether a dense forest, a bare clearing, or a hint of moonlight.
Tip: work with shades of gray and contrasts
Wolves don't have to stay plain gray. Try out different shades of gray, brown, and beige for the fur, plus maybe a rich black for the nose and paws for strong contrasts. The tree trunk can be done in warm brown with darker grooves, which brings nice depth to the picture. If you like, let a few leaves or blades of grass sprout in green in the background, that rounds off the scene nicely.
Maybe while coloring you can tell your child a little story too: why is the wolf jumping over this trunk? Is it fleeing from something, or is it just playfully wandering through the forest? Such little flights of imagination make coloring even more fun. You can download the coloring page for free and conveniently print it at home on A4 paper, then the coloring fun can begin.
