Dear parents, do you know that feeling when you're up in the mountains and suddenly hear a whistle, wondering who's calling out? A curious marmot in front of its cozy burrow
This design is perfect for little explorers who love animals and nature. Your child can color in the marmot's fluffy fur, its tiny paws, round ears, and of course the burrow entrance with the mounds of earth around it. In the background, mountains, a few rocks, and maybe even some grass are waiting to be brought to life with color.
Coloring idea: From fur to rock
Warm shades of brown work well for the fur, perhaps with a bit of beige for the belly, to make the marmot look extra snuggly. The mountains in the background can be colored gray, or even given a snowy white cap, while lush green brings the alpine meadow to life. If you like, you can come up with a little story to go along with it: maybe the marmot has just woken from hibernation and is seeing the spring sunshine for the first time.
