Dear parents, do you know that feeling when everything outside is still and covered in snow, and the moon hangs gently above the trees? We've turned that very peaceful mood into a coloring page for you. The winter forest with its snow-covered fir trees and the big, round moon invites your child to dream and, of course, to color.

A quiet moon watches over the winter forest
There's plenty for your child to discover here: gnarled tree trunks, soft caps of snow on the branches, maybe a few stars in the sky, and right in the middle, the moon bathing everything in its silvery light. There's also room for little details like icicles or footprints in the snow - perfect for children who love to look closely.
Coloring idea: From light to dark
A lovely trick for this picture is playing with brightness. The moon can shine in bright yellow or creamy white, while the sky behind it glows in deep blue or even purple. This creates a beautiful contrast that really captures the nighttime mood. The fir trees can be colored in different shades of green and blue, and the snow doesn't have to stay plain white - a touch of light blue or lilac shading works wonderfully.
If you like, tell your child a little story while they color: maybe a fox lives in the forest, wandering at night and letting the moonlight show the way. Stories like this make coloring even more fun. You can download this coloring page for free and easily print it at home on A4 paper. All you need then are some crayons, a quiet moment, and your child's little winter adventure can begin.
