Painter Fixing a Fence in Winter Coloring Page

Dear parents, does this sound familiar? No sooner is the fence freshly painted than the paint starts peeling off somewhere again. But our painter doesn't let that bother him. Wearing a warm hat and thick gloves, he stands in front of his fence in the middle of winter, fixing small damages as if it were the best job in the world.

A hardworking painter braves the winter: The fence coloring page

This motif tells a little story about patience and hard work that kids will enjoy too. There's a bucket of paint, a brush in the painter's hand, and of course the fence itself, made up of many individual slats. The wintery scenery with snow on the ground and maybe a few clouds in the sky rounds out the picture nicely. So there's plenty for little artist hands to discover and color in.

Coloring tip: Winter colors and warm contrasts

The picture looks especially nice when the snow stays in soft light blue or white, making the painter stand out with bold, warm colors. A red hat, a blue jacket, or a yellow paint bucket add great accents against the cool winter landscape. The fence itself can be colored in classic brown or wood tone, though a few slats could already appear freshly painted in a different color.

If you like, let your child tell you why the painter is working in winter of all times. Maybe spring is just around the corner and the fence needs to be finished in time. You can download this coloring page for free and print it comfortably at home on A4 paper. That way, nothing stands in the way of a cozy afternoon with crayons and a little coloring story.
